Iskander

The Iskander (full designation 9K720 Iskander-M, NATO reporting name SS-26 Stone) is a Russian short-range ballistic missile system developed by the Design Bureau of Machine-Building (KBM) in Kolomna and adopted by the Russian Armed Forces in 2006. It is designed to deliver conventional and nuclear warheads against ground targets at ranges of several hundred kilometres and has become a core element of Russian army strike capabilities.
