Jean-Noël Barrot
Jean-Noël Barrot is a French politician serving as Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs in the government of Prime Minister François Bayrou. He is a member of the Renaissance party and a close ally of President Emmanuel Macron. Before his appointment in 2024, he served as Minister Delegate for Digital Affairs and held various roles within the presidential administration.

France's foreign minister says Europe now provides two-thirds of Ukraine's intelligence
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot said in an interview on France Inter on 15 October that two-thirds of the intelligence Ukraine receives currently comes from Europe, including France. The statement came against a backdrop of reported US threats to halt intelligence sharing and arms deliveries if Ukraine kept striking Russian energy infrastructure, and as European leaders announced plans to double their aid to Kyiv.
