Ukrainian Naval Forces

The Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Військово-морські сили ЗСУ) are the maritime branch of Ukraine's military, responsible for naval defence in the Black Sea. They include surface and submarine units, naval infantry, aviation and coastal rocket and artillery units. The commander-in-chief is an admiral, with the headquarters in Kyiv and main bases in Mykolaiv and Odesa.
