General Staff of the Russian Federation
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is the central military command body of Russia, subordinate to the Minister of Defence. It is headed by the Chief of the General Staff, who simultaneously serves as First Deputy Minister of Defence. The General Staff is responsible for strategic planning and the coordination and control of the branches and services of the armed forces, operational commands and subordinate headquarters. Its headquarters is located on Arbat Street in Moscow.

Ukraine's intelligence warns Russia may test new 800-km ballistic missile by year-end
Ukraine's military intelligence says Russia plans to conduct final tests of a new ballistic missile with a range of up to 800 km by the end of 2026, and may use the launches to strike targets in western Ukraine. The warning was delivered by Vadym Skibitsky, deputy head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR), during a session of the Ukraine-NATO Inter-Parliamentary Council.
