Russian Black Sea Fleet
The Black Sea Fleet is one of the four operational-strategic commands of the Russian Federation's Navy. Its headquarters is in Sevastopol, with additional basing at Novorossiysk. The fleet is responsible for operations in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.

Ukraine strikes Russian naval base at Novorossiysk, fire reported at mazut terminal
On the night of September 8–9, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck the Russian naval base at Novorossiysk in Krasnodar Krai, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A fire broke out at the Novorossiysk Mazut Terminal, and the commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces said military vessels including missile carriers were hit. Russian officials gave conflicting casualty figures, with the city's mayor initially reporting none and the regional governor later saying four people were killed and 29 injured.
