Ukrainian hryvnia hits record low as central bank steps up currency sales
Ukraine’s central bank set the official hryvnia-dollar rate at 45.67 on November 4, a record low for the currency. The bank also sold more than $6 billion on the interbank market in October and provided banks with cash foreign currency as demand increased amid higher defense and security spending.
