OPEC+

OPEC+ is an arrangement between the OPEC member states and a group of non-OPEC oil-producing countries, led by Russia, to coordinate oil production and exports. The format was established in 2016 in response to an oversupplied global oil market. Decisions are taken at ministerial meetings and set production quotas for each participant. The alliance has a major influence on world oil prices.
