Novorossiysk Sea Commercial Port
The Novorossiysk Sea Commercial Port is one of the largest ports in Russia, located on the Black Sea coast in the city of Novorossiysk, Krasnodar Krai. It is a multipurpose facility handling crude oil and petroleum products, grain, cement, metals, containers and general cargo. The port is among Russia's principal Black Sea cargo hubs and a major outlet for the country's exports.

Ukraine strikes Russian naval base at Novorossiysk, fire reported at mazut terminal
On the night of September 8–9, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck the Russian naval base at Novorossiysk in Krasnodar Krai, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A fire broke out at the Novorossiysk Mazut Terminal, and the commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces said military vessels including missile carriers were hit. Russian officials gave conflicting casualty figures, with the city's mayor initially reporting none and the regional governor later saying four people were killed and 29 injured.
