Ministry of Agricultural Policy
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine is the central executive body responsible for state policy in agriculture, land relations, the food industry, and food security. It is led by a minister appointed by the Verkhovna Rada on the nomination of the prime minister. Since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, the ministry has been centrally involved in managing grain exports, demining agricultural land, and coordinating compensation for farmers affected by the war.
