State Emergency Service of Ukraine
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (ДСНС) is the central executive body responsible for civil protection, disaster response and rescue operations. It coordinates firefighting units and emergency services across the country and falls under the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Its tasks include responding to natural disasters, industrial accidents and large-scale emergencies such as those caused by the war.

Russia strikes Kyiv twice with ballistic missiles, damaging Southern Bridge and metro infrastructure
Russia launched two waves of ballistic missile strikes on Kyiv in the evening of 26 October and the night of 27 October, killing a 46-year-old woman and injuring 14 or 15 people, according to official reports. A missile hit the Southern Bridge, creating a large crater and damaging the above-ground metro infrastructure. Russian drones strike TV station and energy facility in Kremenchuk
Russian drones struck the building of the private TV and radio company Vizyt in Kremenchuk and an energy infrastructure facility in Kremenchuk district during the night of October 22. Fires broke out at both sites and were extinguished by rescuers. Preliminary information indicated no casualties, while Vizyt continued broadcasting but temporarily suspended the preparation and airing of news programs.

Russian drone strike on Kyiv hits high-rise, transport facility and parked cars overnight
Russia struck Kyiv with drones overnight on 20–21 October, hitting a 24-storey residential building in the Sviatoshynskyi district at the 20th-floor level, a transport infrastructure object in the Solomianskyi district, and parked cars in the Desnianskyi district. Fires broke out at all three sites, emergency power outages were introduced in the Sviatoshynskyi district and parts of Kyiv Oblast, and casualties were reported in the Sviatoshynskyi building strike. Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klychko and the Kyiv City Military Administration (KMVA) reported the consequences via Telegram. The attack came a day after a separate Russian strike on Kyiv on 20 October killed one person and injured 21.

Russian drone attacks strike Uman, damaging civilian sites and injuring five
Russian forces attacked Uman in Cherkasy Oblast with strike drones overnight on October 21 and again in the morning. The strikes damaged a hypermarket, a hotel, private homes, and buildings at Uman National University. The State Emergency Service later reported five people affected, two of whom were hospitalized.

Russian drone strikes hit Kyiv and three districts of Kyiv Oblast, killing at least four
On the morning of 8 October, Russian forces attacked Kyiv and three districts of Kyiv Oblast with strike drones, including reactive Shahed-type UAVs. A drone hit a four-storey shop building in the Solomianskyi district, where three people were later confirmed killed. By the end of the day, the death toll in Kyiv had risen to four and the number of injured to nineteen, with thirteen hospitalised. Three districts of Kyiv Oblast were also struck, injuring three residents. Emergency power outages were introduced across Kyiv and parts of the region, and water pressure dropped on the capital's right bank.

Russian drone attack on Kyiv hits gas stations and warehouses, killing one and wounding eleven
Russia struck Kyiv with drones overnight and throughout the day on 15 September, hitting two Ukrnafta gas stations in the Darnytskyi and Holosiivskyi districts, warehouse premises in Obolonskyi, and garage cooperatives in Solomianskyi and Sviatoshynskyi. Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko and the Kyiv City Military Administration (KMVA) reported one person killed and eleven injured across the day, with air defence active and Kyiv City Express service temporarily suspended.
