Ukrainian parliament summons Kyiv mayor Klitschko to report on heating season preparation
The Verkhovna Rada voted 151 to summon Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko to report on the city's preparation for the heating season and the winter, amid ongoing Russian strikes on the capital's energy infrastructure. The initiative was put forward by Servant of the People MP Mariana Bezuhla. Klitschko, who appeared in parliament on 14 October, rejected the accusations as baseless and framed the summons as a politically driven attempt to remove him from office and undermine local self-government.
