Юрій Сак
Yuriy Sak is a Ukrainian military officer and government official with the rank of Major General. He has served as a Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and as head of the Department of Military Policy, Strategic Planning and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine. He is known publicly as a spokesperson on aviation matters and the delivery of Western F-16 fighter jets to the Ukrainian Air Force.

More than half of Ukraine's F-16 fighters are non-combat-ready due to maintenance delays at Belgian contractor Sabena Aerospace Engineering, with phased inspections reportedly taking up to 40 weeks versus two to six weeks in the United States. The backlog comes as Russia scales up jet-powered drone strikes and Ukraine leans on F-16s as its main counter to that threat.
