Russian guided bombs strike Kharkiv residential building, injuring at least 22 including 8 children
On the night of 28 September 2026, Russian forces struck the Saltivskyi and Kyivskyi districts of Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs (KABs). One bomb hit the second floor of a multi-storey apartment building in the Saltivskyi district, destroying two floors and damaging roughly 10 buildings. Ukrainian officials reported at least 22 injured, including 8 children.
