Russian glide bombs hit Zaporizhzhia residential buildings, killing at least 17 including children
Russian forces struck Zaporizhzhia with five guided aerial bombs (KABs) in the early hours of 10 October, partially destroying a residential building and killing at least 17 civilians, including three children. President Zelensky framed the attack as Russia's 'thank-you' for the lifting of US sanctions on Russian diesel exports, announced the day before. A day of mourning was declared for 11 October.
