Winston Churchill
Winston Churchill was a British statesman who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1940 to 1945 and again from 1951 to 1955. He led the country through the Second World War and led the Conservative Party for most of his later career. He was also an army officer, a prolific writer, and the recipient of the 1953 Nobel Prize in Literature.

NATO chief Rutte warns of most dangerous security situation in a generation, urges UK and Europe to boost defense spending
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, during a visit to the United Kingdom, said the Alliance faces the most dangerous and complex security situation in a generation. Speaking at Ditchley Park in Oxfordshire, he called on Britain and other European countries to build up their defense capabilities toward a NATO-wide target of 3.5% of GDP on defense by 2035, a level the UK is currently not budgeted to reach.
