Russia claims air defenses shot down 604 Ukrainian drones overnight, 417 toward Moscow region
Russian authorities said air defenses intercepted 604 Ukrainian drones overnight across multiple regions and the Sea of Azov. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin wrote that 417 of those drones were directed at the Moscow region, with the majority reportedly neutralized far from the capital and 65 shot down on approach to Moscow. Falling debris was reported to have caused infrastructure damage in Kaluga Oblast.
