Ukraine Detains Former SBU General in Expanded ‘Carthage’ Corruption Probe
Ukrainian anti-corruption authorities detained former SBU general Serhii Duka and four other suspects in an expanded operation targeting alleged links between senior law-enforcement officials and organized crime. NABU and SAP said the criminal network facilitated fraudulent call centers, drug trafficking, counterfeiting and violence, including alleged attempts to influence former interior minister Ihor Klymenko.
