Ukraine's Prosecutor General Kravchenko resigns a day after NABU raids in "Carthage" corruption case
On 7 September 2025, Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko announced on Telegram that he had submitted his resignation, calling it a conscious political decision. The move came hours after he told journalists he would not resign voluntarily, and the same day President Volodymyr Zelensky met with him and "Servant of the People" faction head Davyd Arakhamia. Kravchenko's resignation follows NABU and SAP's 4 September "Carthage" operation exposing a criminal organization allegedly led by his deputy, Serhiy Kropyva.
