Ukraine’s Air Alert app compromised and displayed false radiation and missile warnings
Ukraine’s Air Alert app was likely targeted by a cyberattack on the evening of November 1, showing false radiation, chemical, nuclear, street-fighting and missile-strike warnings across the country. The Air Force said no radiation threat existed, while sirens and other warning systems continued operating. Developers suspended notifications, restored parts of the service and introduced additional security measures.
