Zelensky says US warned it could halt intelligence sharing over strikes on Russian oil refineries
President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed in an NPR interview that the Trump administration warned Ukraine it could stop sharing intelligence if Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refineries continue. Zelensky said the warning was conveyed to his generals rather than to him personally, and that as of the interview the intelligence flow had not actually been halted. US President Donald Trump publicly denied any suspension, saying the US is still helping Ukraine, while the European Commission said it sees no signs the exchange has stopped. The exchange coincides with two consecutive evenings of Russian ballistic strikes on Kyiv (October 12-13) during which Ukraine says it received no advance warning from partners.
