Russia hits Kyiv in massive overnight strike; one killed, partners accused of skipping ballistic warning
In the early hours of 19 October, Russia launched a combined strike on Ukraine using Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles, Iskander-K cruise missiles and 269 strike drones, with Kyiv hit in at least three districts. A 21-year-old woman was killed and at least eight people were injured, while Ukrainian sources publicly accused partners of again failing to warn Kyiv before the ballistic salvo.
