US envoys Witkoff and Kushner plan Norway talks on Ukraine, followed by Putin meeting in Russia
US special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are planning to travel to Norway this week for a new round of talks on ending the war in Ukraine, with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expected to join alongside European and Norwegian officials. After the Oslo meetings, Witkoff plans to travel to Russia to meet President Vladimir Putin. The trip comes amid sharp US–Ukraine tensions over reported restrictions on Starshield satellite communications, intelligence sharing and Patriot missile deliveries, which the US denies.
