Shinjiro Koizumi
Shinjiro Koizumi is a Japanese politician and member of the Liberal Democratic Party. He has served as Minister of the Environment and Minister of Defense of Japan, and is a member of the House of Representatives for Kanagawa Prefecture. He is the son of former Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi.

Japan signs contract to buy interceptor drones from Ukrainian maker SkyFall
Japan's Ministry of Defense has signed a contract with Ukrainian unmanned-systems company SkyFall to purchase interceptor drones, Defense Minister Shinjiro Koizumi announced at a press conference. Koizumi framed the deal as part of Japan's effort to learn from Ukraine's combat drone experience, citing a rapid iteration cycle of two to three weeks. He also said Japan currently has no plans to transfer Patriot air defense missiles produced on Japanese territory to Ukraine.
