Russia launches massive combined missile and drone attack on Ukraine overnight, killing at least two in Kyiv
On the night of October 6–7, Russia carried out a large-scale combined attack on Ukraine using ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and strike drones, targeting multiple cities simultaneously. At least two people were killed in Kyiv's Darnytskyi district, and hits were recorded on industrial, transport, and residential infrastructure in Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, and Kremenchuk. Ukrainian air defense reported intercepting 161 aerial targets by 09:00 on October 7.
