Ukraine's parliament dismisses Ruslan Kravchenko as Prosecutor General
The Verkhovna Rada voted 317–0 on 15 September 2026 to dismiss Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko, one day after President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree suspending him. The dismissal follows a sharp escalation between Kravchenko and Ukraine's anti-corruption bodies, including his signing of a suspicion notice against NABU director Semen Kryvonos and his departure from Ukraine the night before the vote.
