Philippe Sands
Philippe Sands is a British-French international lawyer and academic, professor of law at University College London. He is known for his work as counsel before international courts, including the International Court of Justice, and for his scholarship on international law, human rights and state responsibility. He has been involved in cases concerning genocide, war crimes and questions of extraterritorial jurisdiction. In addition to his legal practice, he has written several acclaimed non-fiction works on the history of international law.
