Peter Pellegrini
Peter Pellegrini is a Slovak politician and leader of the Voice – Social Democracy party. He served as Prime Minister of Slovakia from 2018 to 2020 and as Speaker of the National Council from 2020 to 2024, before winning the 2024 presidential election to become the fourth President of Slovakia.

Russia launched a massive ballistic missile and drone attack on Kyiv overnight on 23–24 September 2025, killing two people and injuring at least eight across five districts. The strike hit residential buildings, a maternity hospital, warehouses, and an administrative building, hours after Ukraine had agreed to a full and immediate ceasefire and while President Zelensky was meeting U.S. House members in New York about the Lindsey Graham sanctions bill.
