South Korea recalls ambassador to Ukraine after Zelensky's disclosure about captured North Korean soldiers
South Korea has recalled its ambassador to Ukraine, Park Ki-chang, following Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's disclosure at the UN General Assembly the previous month that Ukraine had transferred two captured North Korean soldiers to Seoul. Seoul summoned Ukraine's ambassador and threatened additional measures, while President Lee Jae-myung demanded a formal apology. Ukraine denied that any confidentiality agreement on the transfer had been broken and called for dialogue over emotion.
