Former SBU General Serhii Duka jailed for 60 days in Ukraine’s “Carthage” corruption case
Ukraine’s anti-corruption authorities detained former SBU General Serhii Duka during the “Carthage” operation, alleging that he helped protect a criminal network from law-enforcement scrutiny. The Higher Anti-Corruption Court placed Duka under house arrest for 60 days with a possible 100 million hryvnia bail. Investigators also say four cryptocurrency wallets worth about $3 million were transferred to him.
