Zelensky confirms US warned it could halt intelligence sharing over strikes on Russian oil refineries
President Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview with NPR, published on October 13, that the Trump administration warned Ukraine it could stop sharing intelligence if Ukrainian forces continue attacking Russian oil refineries. Zelensky said the warning was communicated to his generals rather than to him personally, and that as of the interview the intelligence exchange had not actually been halted. The exchange comes amid Russian ballistic missile strikes on Kyiv on the evenings of October 12 and 13 that proceeded without advance partner warning, and reports of new restrictions on Starlink and StarShield services for Ukrainian military users.
