Russian strike on Komyshuvakha school shelter kills at least 31, Zelensky says 33 dead
Russian airstrikes hit a school used to distribute humanitarian aid in Komyshuvakha, Zaporizhzhia region, followed by a strike on an underground shelter where civilians were taking refuge. The reported death toll rose from 26 to 29 and then 31, while President Volodymyr Zelensky later said 33 people were killed in one strike. Forty-eight people were initially listed as missing as search-and-rescue operations continued on November 3.
