Overnight into Sunday, October 18, Russian forces attacked critical and energy infrastructure across several Ukrainian oblasts, destroying critical infrastructure in Vinnytsia Oblast and hitting energy facilities in Ternopil and Odesa oblasts. Emergency power outages were introduced in the affected regions, with energy workers working to restore supply and critical infrastructure being switched to backup power where possible.
