Dismissed Prosecutor General Kravchenko fails to return to Ukraine after official trip abroad ends
Former Ukrainian Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko, who was dismissed on 15 September after signing suspicion notices against the heads of Ukraine's main anti-corruption bodies, had not returned to the Office of the Prosecutor General (OPG) by 14:00 on 21 September, three days after his official five-day foreign business trip was due to end on 18 September. The OPG said it had no information on his whereabouts or whether he had returned to Ukraine. Kravchenko had signed the trip order himself and claimed it was to attend PACE hearings in Paris on Ukrainian children, but a PACE spokesperson said neither he nor anyone from his agency was on the participant list.
