In the night of October 14, SpaceX imposed a speed cap on the Starshield military package of Starlink terminals used by Ukraine's Defense Forces, without prior warning. The restriction disrupted drone operations and front-line missions, prompting the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense to engage US, SpaceX, and NATO partners, and drew a public rebuke from Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski.
