Michal Koudelka
Michal Koudelka is a Czech diplomat and intelligence officer who heads the Security Information Service (BIS) of the Czech Republic. He took over as director of BIS in August 2016 after earlier service in the Government Office and intelligence structures. Under his leadership BIS has publicly warned of growing threats from Russia and China and contributed to the investigation of the 2014 ammunition depot explosions in Vrbětice.

Czech, Latvian and Swedish intelligence chiefs expect Russian sabotage in Europe to intensify
The heads of the intelligence services of the Czech Republic, Latvia and Sweden told The Guardian they expect Russia's sabotage campaign in Europe to escalate in the coming months. The three differ on the likelihood of a direct Russian invasion of NATO territory, with the Czech BIS chief warning it could come within months and the Latvian VDD chief saying he sees no signs of an imminent attack.
