US Delays PAC-3 Patriot Interceptors to Ukraine as NATO Commander Says Deliveries Continue
The United States is delaying deliveries of PAC-3 Patriot interceptors to Ukraine, which are primarily used against ballistic targets, while older PAC-2 missiles continue to arrive through the PURL mechanism. NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe General Alexus Grinkiewicz said Patriot deliveries are continuing and no European-funded PURL items have been delayed, but NATO sources doubt Ukraine will receive additional interceptors before the US midterms on November 3.
