Lithuania reports failed arson on Starlink facility, summons security commission
Lithuanian Prime Minister Mindaugas Sinkevičius said an overnight attempt to set fire to a Lithuanian company storing Starlink communications equipment was foiled after intelligence services warned the firm in advance. He has convened the National Security Commission for 19 October, which will also examine an unknown drone detected in Lithuanian airspace the same night and consider expanded powers for services to neutralize drones. Sinkevičius called Russia the most likely perpetrator, describing the incident as part of a hybrid war, while Lithuanian police have opened a pre-trial investigation.
