Fire at Polish Starlink ground station investigated as suspected sabotage; site serves Ukraine
A fire broke out late on the evening of 23 September at a Starlink satellite communications ground station in Wola Krobowska, Masovian Voivodeship, Poland. The station, operated by Polish state-owned telecoms company Exatel, together with a similar node near Kaunas, Lithuania, provides internet connectivity to a large part of Central and Eastern Europe, including Ukraine and the Ukrainian military. Polish authorities are investigating the fire as suspected arson/sabotage, while service has since been restored.
