Ukraine completes investigation in Midas energy corruption case
Ukraine's National Anti-Corruption Bureau and Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office announced on 4 November that they had completed the pretrial investigation into the Midas case. The case concerns an alleged organized corruption and money-laundering scheme involving officials, business figures and the state nuclear power company NAEC Energoatom. Related proceedings into other alleged corruption and money laundering in the energy sector are still ongoing.
