Zelensky says US has resumed intelligence sharing with Ukraine after brief suspension
President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on NBC's "Meet the Press" on October 18 that the United States has resumed sharing intelligence with Ukraine after a period during which it had been blocked. The intelligence most affected was data on Russian ballistic missile launches, which Zelensky said Ukraine receives exclusively from the US. He expressed hope that negotiations with Washington could take place within the week. Separately, a SpaceX restriction on the military Starlink (Starshield) system for Ukraine remained unresolved.
