Turkey and UN launch new Black Sea ceasefire talks between Ukraine and Russia
Turkey and the United Nations are organizing new negotiations between Russia and Ukraine on a Black Sea ceasefire to protect grain supplies, scheduled for early October 2025. Mediators will be representatives of the Swiss NGO Center for Humanitarian Dialogue. The initiative seeks to recreate the 2022 grain corridor deal, but Russia has rejected returning to that arrangement and is pushing its own conditions.
