Ukraine evacuated civilians from the Russian-occupied city of Olekshy during a ceasefire that lasted from October 27 to November 1, while retrieving the remains of fallen soldiers and civilians. Residents who returned to Ukrainian-controlled territory traveled through Anapa and Belarus, and those who stayed received humanitarian aid. Ukraine and Russia agreed not to publish official evacuation figures.
