Ukraine court detains "Muza" suspect in NABU "Carthage" case, sets bail at 20 million hryvnias
On 7 September, the High Anti-Corruption Court (VAKS) ordered Yelyzaveta Ivakhnenko, a 24-year-old suspect code-named "Muza" in the NABU/SAP "Operation Carthage" investigation, held in custody until 2 November with an alternative bail of 20 million hryvnias. Prosecutors had requested 50 million. Ivakhnenko is accused of helping the main suspect, OGP official Serhiy Kropyva ("Chancellor"), launder criminal proceeds from the alleged protection of fraudulent call centers.
