Gunnar Strömmer
Gunnar Strømmer is a Norwegian lawyer and politician who serves as leader of the Conservative Party (Høyre). He is Norway's Minister of Justice and Public Security, having taken office in the Støre government following previous roles in the Solberg government. In that capacity he is responsible for Norwegian visa and asylum policy, a portfolio that has gained prominence over questions around restricting visas for Russian citizens in the wake of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
