European Parliament VP Pina Picierno begins hunger strike for occupied Oleshky
European Parliament Vice-President Pina Picierno announced a hunger strike to draw international attention to the humanitarian crisis in Russian-occupied Oleshky, Kherson region. She demands an immediate humanitarian ceasefire, access to food and medicine, and the safe evacuation of civilians who wish to leave. She also invited civic organizations, citizens, and national and local institutions to join the nonviolent action.
