Gregory Meeks
Gregory Meeks is an American Democratic politician who represents a district in New York in the U.S. House of Representatives. He chairs the House Foreign Affairs Committee, placing him at the center of U.S. foreign policy debates on sanctions, international aid, and diplomacy. Before entering Congress, Meeks worked as an assistant district attorney in Queens and served in the New York State Assembly.
