Giorgia Meloni

Giorgia Meloni is an Italian politician who has served as Prime Minister of Italy since October 2022, the first woman to hold the office. She is the leader of the right-wing party Brothers of Italy (Fratelli d'Italia), which she co-founded in 2012 out of the post-fascist National Alliance movement. Her government is a coalition with Matteo Salvini's League and Silvio Berlusconi's Forza Italy. She is known for her nationalist and conservative stance on immigration and European integration, while maintaining Italy's commitment to NATO and the EU.
