Gerhard Karner
Gerhard Karner is an Austrian politician of the ÖVP who serves as Federal Minister of the Interior. Before entering national government, he was the long-serving mayor of Amstetten in Lower Austria and a member of the National Council. In his cabinet role he oversees migration policy, internal security and policing.
