Russian drone strikes Northern Bridge in Kyiv, a day after Southern Bridge was shut
A Russian drone hit the Northern Bridge in Kyiv on the morning of Saturday, 3 October, damaging the road surface and the trolleybus overhead contact network and forcing the closure of left-to-right-bank traffic. Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported the hit, and public transport on several bus and trolleybus routes was delayed and rerouted via the Podilskyi crossing. The attack came a day after Russia's repeated drone strikes on the Southern Bridge left that crossing fully shut to vehicles and the metro.
