Norway's PM says drone nearly hit Zelenskyy's plane in Moldova; Oslo and Kyiv disagree on the danger
Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre said on 9 September that a drone nearly struck President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's plane as it was preparing to take off from Moldova en route to Oslo for King Harald V's funeral. Norwegian and Ukrainian officials later offered conflicting accounts: Norway's State Secretary said it was unknown how close the drone came, while a source in the Office of the President of Ukraine called Støre's characterization "exaggerated."
